The Tyrolean Lech Valley has many faces - one more beautiful than the other and it is worth getting to know every single facet. While rivers are straightened elsewhere, the Lech is allowed to run its free course here. This is one of the reasons why the Lech Valley has not lost any of its original character over the past decades.
Numerous activities are at your disposal to make your vacation as varied as possible. Whether on a bike, hiking or even on a rafting tour, the "last wild one" is your constant companion. He will lead you to unique natural experiences and magical places.

Ski resorts

In the Lech Valley, the motto is "Time for more space". What this means can be felt and also experienced, especially in winter. Passionate skiers, but also all those who are just learning to ski, appreciate the enormous amount of space in the region and on the nearby Arlberg.

5 smaller lift operations in Holzgau, Elbigenalp, Stanzach, Pfafflar and Gramais, as well as the family-friendly Jöchelspitze ski area in Bach, with 5 kilometers of slopes and a modern gondola lift, offer skiing pleasure in the idyllic nature of the Tyrolean Lech Valley.

Even more room for exuberant skiing days is offered by the nearby Ski Arlberg ski area - Austria's largest contiguous ski area. 300 kilometers of slopes, first-class runs and sophisticated ski resorts like Lech-, St. Anton- and St. Christoph am Arlberg are connected and offer you an extraordinary skiing experience and winter sports enjoyment at its best.

It gets really cozy at our 9 winter magic huts, which invite you into their cozy rooms after a hike in the cold winter air. Afterwards, a fun toboggan ride back down to the valley is of course the crowning finale for a winter hike with friends or family.
