Mountain tour to the Jochspitze

The Jochspitze, located exactly on the border between Austria and Germany, is not a giant at 2,232 meters, but a magnificent panoramic mountain. The ascent is from Hinterhornbach - 1,100 m - past the Kanzberg, along an east-west ridge to the summit. The descent from the summit is via the Hornbachjoch - 2,020 m. The Hornbach chain in the south, the Hochvogel and Kleiner and Großer Wilder in the north as well as the Höfats in the west provide lasting impressions.
