Ski tour on the Große Leiterspitze

The ski tour to the Große Leiterspitze - 2,750 m - starts in Gramais, the smallest municipality in Austria, at 1,320 m altitude. The tour leads over a total of about 1,500 meters in altitude and requires, in addition to good physical condition and stable conditions, an easy ascent up to UIAA I. The steep ascent from the Branntweinböden can be demanding and is more recommended in snowy winters. You will be rewarded with the finest northeast slopes and magnificent views of the great peaks of the Lechtal and Allgäu Alps.
