Summer mountain railroads

High up and in the middle of the Lechtal mountains you can go with the summer mountain railroads. First and foremost, the Lechtaler Jöchelspitzbahn in Bach is a great way to enjoy the breathtaking mountains and the spectacular views of the surrounding nature.

Thanks to the Lechtal Aktiv Card, however, you also have the opportunity to use other mountain railroads in the nearby neighboring regions. For example, the Steffisalp Express in Warth and another 3 cable cars in Lech a. Arlberg, such as the Rüfikopfbahn, are available to you free of charge. The Hahnenkammbahn in the nature park region of Reutte also takes you comfortably and quickly to the mountain peaks of the Allgäu Alps.

The Lechweg

The Lechweg stands for moderate long-distance hiking in an alpine landscape. The untamed wild river Lech, plays the main role, the mountains are always companions: In 125 km, the long-distance hiking trail Lechweg leads hikers from the Formarinsee near Lech am Arlberg via Warth through the Tyrolean Lechtal and the nature park region Reutte to the Lechfall near Füssen in the Allgäu.
