Welcome to the
Time out village Kaisers
Clear air, silence, a starry sky and very close to the mountains. Those who come to Kaisers, stay. The municipality of Kaisers lives up to its name and puts the crown on the side valley. At 1,518 meters above sea level, it is the highest community in the district of Reutte. Allergy sufferers in particular feel right at home at this altitude. At altitudes above 1,500 meters, dust mite levels decrease rapidly and the pollen density is also significantly lower.
The community with the hamlets of Kienberg and Boden has less than 80 inhabitants, but two inns and an alpine club house.
The surrounding area offers the best conditions for tours of all kinds in winter and summer - whether on foot, on a mountain bike or on skis. Only a homemade ice cream of the natural cheese dairy Sojer would be a reason to stop in Steeg in between.
Kaisers in winter
The Edelweisshaus is located in the center of the village, but it is a time-honored alpine club hut of the DAV Stuttgart section. From here, you can strap on your touring skis or snowshoes in winter and head for the Hahnleskopf, the Gufelspitze or the Schwarzer Kranz. In just a few minutes drive you are already on skis, in the middle of the nearby ski area Ski-Arlberg.
Mountain biking in Kaisers
In summer Kaisers is a good starting point for hikes to the Kaiseralm, the Stuttgarter or Leutkircher Hütte or the Kaiserjochhaus. For mountaineers, an ascent of the Holzgauer Wetterspitze, the Feuerspitze or the Roggspitze is an unforgettable mountaineering highlight.
