Lechtal ski resorts

The Lechtal ski areas and ski lifts are particularly well suited for beginners, returning skiers and families. With the modern and newly built Jöchelspitzbahn in Bach and 5 smaller T-bar lifts and practice lifts in the individual Lechtal communities, you have around 14 kilometers of slopes at your disposal in the Lechtal.

The perfectly groomed slopes invite you to enjoy carving over the snow-covered slopes. The majority of the slopes are also covered with snow, so that we can guarantee snow-sure skiing for as long as possible. In the Lechtal ski areas, young and old skiers* can improve their skills and technique in peace and quiet.

In the idyllic nature park region Lechtal skiers experience exuberant skiing days.

Jöchelspitzbahn

The newly built 8-cabin gondola lift "Jöchelspitzbahn" transports skiers, but also winter hikers from the valley station in Bach, up to about 1800 m above sea level. Far above the valley you have a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains of the Lechtal and Allgäu Alps. Skiers and snowboarders take their turns on the perfectly groomed slopes down into the valley.

Beginners and experts, but also families have equally much fun skiing. A weekly touring evening on the groomed slope also attracts many ski tourers to the cozy Sonnalm.

Village and practice lifts

Those who are at the beginning of their "ski career" or would like to start skiing again will find the best conditions at the smaller lift facilities in the Lech Valley. In Holzgau, Elbigenalp and Stanzach, as well as in the side valley communities of Pfafflar and Gramais, skiers can improve their skills and hone their technique in peace and quiet.

These lifts offer the best snow and slope conditions and are ideal terrain for beginners as well as advanced skiers. The majority of these lifts are also supplied with snowmaking equipment when needed. If you haven't had enough of skiing during the day, you can even take your turns at the ski lift in Stanzach during night skiing.
